Description
The cottage is Grade II listed and is situated right on the Harbour Front.
The Decor is in period style with antiques and curios coupled with the modern
day conveniences i.e Microwave, fridge/freezer/ washer/dryer, electric oven and
hob, hairdryer etc.
On the first floor is a Double Bedroom with a French Antique Bed (4'6") and
a Twin Bedded room with antique Half Tester Beds. A Bathroom with shower,
wash basin and WC' Both bedrooms are equipped with Digital TV's.
On the Ground Floor is the Sitting Room and Kitchen.
The Sitting Room is furnished with a comfortable leather Chesterfield sofa
and matching chairs, antique pine Dressers and chests house classic pieces of
china. To add to the decoration a garland of Dried Hops straddle the beams.
A digital TV with freeview and DVD, with a selection of DVD's to watch, also
games and books are available.
The Kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, Washer/Dryer,
Fridge/freezer and Microwave etc., an iron & Ironing Board and hairdryeris also
included. It is also fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils etc.
A Sheltered Courtyard with Plants, shrubs and garden furniture leads out from the
kitchen for outdoor relaxation.
The cottage is ideally located for leisurely walks into the fishing village
of Newlyn or a more energetic walk on the coastal path to Lamorna. Step outside
the front door and you are literally beside Mousehole's picturesque harbour wall
Little Dorrit offers a relaxing holiday coupled with the aesthectic charm of
'by gone days' in this Grade II listed cobblers cottage.
Through the month of December is particularly popular with visitors, when
Mousehole is decorated with lights, covering the whole of the harbour and
surrounding area. The cottages are all decorated with Christmas lights adding
to the wonderful display and unique atmosphere..
